Air pollution

Air pollution

Air pollution occurs mainly through exhaust fumes from cars, buses, and trucks. Smoke from waste burners, factories, power stations, and the burning oil, coal and gas in homes also contribute to this.
air pollution can also take place when framers spray their crops with chemicals, and from volcanic eruptions and explosion.some pollutants, such as soot and ash are solid, but many pollution are gases. Air pollution can spread over to huge distances. Certain types of pesticides, for instances, have been discovered in Antarctica, where they have never been used. Most fuels and chemicals are called hydrocarbons, Any hydrocarbons that are left unburned in car exhausts, for example, can react in sunlight to form toxic ozone. when exhausts gases react in strong sunlight to form ozone, they many create a photo chemical smog. Breathing the air in a busy city like Mexico city is thought to be as harmful as smoking 40 cigarettes a day.
